Re: Compaq has yet to release its promised Athlon computers.. That's not what they told me when I called for a quote! And those words don't appear in the article referenced. The IBM systems have been in Best Buy for about two weeks now. I've personally seen boxes sitting on the shelf. I've called a VAR I use for white box systems and he said I could have my choice of FIC or MSI boards, both were readily available - that was two weeks ago. They're here, available, and in volume - one and a half months after the August 4 intro it is true, but they are here now. Dan
