No, Intel certainly did plan to have a 133MHz platform this year, and this is not good news. However, I believe it became apparent that the market would not support Camino being "Mainstream" in the near term. Intel execs have said as much over the last few months. Clearly the 820 is not mainstream, but that's only because of the fateful decision to use Rambus. There's nothing "not mainstream" about the Camino feature set. By the way, what's up with the CC820 motherboards (the Camino boards that use SDRAM via the Memory Translator)? Have they shipped? They seem to have vanished into the night. Few people seem aware that they even exist. If you recall, this was supposed to be Intel's backup plan if Rambus didn't work out.
