beyond amzn - my underlying observation is that users/traffic have value

that thesis proved true in the search space (which soared from 1996 when i first covered them)

and it has proven true to every stock, the latest group being community (my top picks for 1999, notice that all are now acquired except tglo, and lycos was in a failed deal but still a deal for its girth)

it's not aol or amzn, it's users = customers
the critical mass must be reached first and then the business model changes in favor of the network
