KW I agree with you wholeheartedly about XCIT! I've been using it as my start page for a couple of months now and I feel it is far superior to YHOO! Their message board which is controlled by Quicken leaves much to be desired though!
Some who have downplayed XCIT are exactly what you write, 'short'! Others haven't even given it a chance ie., using it!

I am all for keeping XCIT/ATHM the way it is as I am very long! Others see the stock @ a standstill and see no $move are becoming impatient and welcome this series of rumors!

Unfortunately, devoid of my grand perspective, I think that the rumors will pan out to be fact! T does not want XCIT exclusivity as they are losing revenue that way! It would be far better for T to open up the pipe themselves, retain ATHM, acquire UMG and everyone is happy!

BUT all this content flowing for $$$$$$ to T! AOL is elated, open access goes away, ATHM continues exclusivity!

I agree with you KW to leave things alone as I see us slowly, at a snails pace, gaining MS on AOL and eventually overtaking them but T needs the $s now!

Interesting, yes very! Curous how MSFT, YHOO and others play into this!

Good luck!

Kevin
