RSA owns VRSN. The definition of exactly what a gorilla is makes it difficult to ascertain whether or not VRSN is a gorilla. But anyhow, my take is that pretty soon there will be a commercial ecommerce directory of vendors suppliers customers etc on the web. And the logical choice to maintain this directory is VRSN, since all these companies supply no mean amount of demographic info to VRSN in order to receive their certificate of authentication.
