Tony, the question is simple: where does it say a September Toronto launch? As often happens on these threads, someone spreads a rumour and then it becomes a "fact". Now, uninformed investors are pissed because the launch didn't happen. As far as I can tell, CY never said September, they said "fall". Last time I checked, fall ends Dec. 21. Some of the regulars around here need to relax and show a little confidence in the company. These kinds of things never happen on schedule. Expecting that only leads to disenchantment.
If I were invested in CY, I'd do one of two things:
...If you believe this is the next coming of AOL, turn your computer off, grab a pile of good books, and check back in year...
...otherwise...
...sell now while you can get more than $1.
Personally, I would be very nervous, what with a fragile, grossly overvalued tech market, a DJI that appears to be headed lower, a very competitive area (ISP's), and my personal favourite, the possibility of a Y2K panic this fall. The pundits have all sorts of explanations as to why markets are weak, but I believe we are on the edge of the cliff. Once the panic begins, nervous investors (mainly the big fund managers) will rush to the exits. I wouldn't be surprise to see a DOW below 7500 by year's end, maybe even 5000. But then, I've been wrong before...time will tell.
I still think CY will go below $1 before it hits $5. From the tone of the discussion here lately, it appears some others agree.
Still monitoring our little wager, Tony...
Cheers. |
