Rich, EBAY's operational earnings last quarter were
zero to negative. EBAY's operational earnings are going
to be zero to negative this quarter (note the word
operational above - the interest earnings is crap - if
you want interest earnings, buy a bank stock). EBAY needs
to have yearly EPS of $4-5 to justify its current price
at some point. Do you expect it to grow from 0.1 to $5?
How long do you expect it to take?

That's why I own puts on EBAY. Unfortunately, with the
lemming mentality out there, I may be wrong and will lose
on those. But eventually EBAY is going down hard.

Don't take me wrong, I think it is a great company. But
the stock price is WAY ahead of the company's realistic
prospects.
