I was just disagreeing about your point that current RDRAMs were "not being used in significant numbers" in PCs -- your "current revenues" point appears to be correct.

This generation of RDRAMs had some compelling advantages for graphics subsystems, but it takes a few product generations to start winning in mainstream designs when the required design changes are significant -- it's like trying to get autmobile designers to use plastic parts 20 years ago. Now that they have a collection of design templates and some hit products with RDRAM content, getting designed in will not be the uphill battle that it has been for the past few years. Being flexible about royalty terms to get some product out there was a smart move, and the revenue will eventually come in.
