well i dont know if i would go as far to say AVID is in great shape.
I owned it awhile back thinking they would do well but the stock has
gone straight down to 9 piling up big losses on the way. GDC's mkt is
not nearly as much a commodity as AVID's who is getting hit on the
low end from ADBE (e.g. Premiere). I personally think the only thing
the bailed out AVID was the INTC investment.

i originally thought GDC would do well when ATM took off but ATM it is
still a small market for them. They certainly wont execute well until
it grows. Unfortunately as of last count they were only generating 10M a QTR.
