All I can think of is that AOL gets the eyeballs from Excite and then gets a deal from T to use the cable lines, for a fee. As far as I can remember that's what AOL was asking for to begin with. Access to the cable lines for a fee. And T does not have to worry about content. T will still have their own ISP, I'd guess.
