Brian and thread. A carnage almost all around today. Yes. And not only in the techs. Our TK replacement, Dan Niles, is out there again bashing some of our techs. Especially Dell this time around. He thinks that disaster in Taiwan will hit Dell the most for the next 3 to 6 months due to their 6 day model. (Not much inventory on hand and they are caught up in higher prices therefore) He says: What looked like a great quarter coming up is now only so so. Other analysts have a strong buy on Dell. It's hanging in there and so is Intel. Intel is actually up.

Some poster somewhere posted today that the bull looked tired and needs a rest until next week. I think the bull deserves a rest but this is not too great. gg. Maybe after the FED is out of the way things will look up again. I guess yesterday was only window dressing.

Some data was strong again today. People and businesses must be stacking up for Y2K. Investors should take this in consideration. Things will be choppy but it looks like it will hit a bottom soon. Disasters all around, now in Mexico. Let's hope nothing happens here and we will be off to the races again soon.

Sonny

PS. Hm. Intel down 1/16th now.

BTW. I would like to say I feel your pain when it comes to those insurance cos. puts. But then I never had any.
