Ok, let's have a bit of a reality check.

If a member of senior management leaves a company, it is usually bad for the company. This is still true even if the manager is leaving to pursue opportunities alongside the company, and it is still true even if the manager's new job shows his faith in the original company's vision.

If someone leaves Novell it is bad for Novell. Perhaps creating a company that works closely with Novell will eventually offset some of the badness, but not necessarily all of it.

And as far as getting new blood into the system, hey that's great. When it happens, the stock may go back up. Until then, we're stuck with a company that's missing a bunch of senior managers. Which is surprising. And surprising = bad news for the stock price.
