I Called the Company (JBRD) Today, and this is what I found Out. The Truth: 1) Duke Ellington release this month, exclusive with JBRD. Should bring in some good revenue. Also Diva release very shortly including Vanessa Williams and other Diva greats. 2) Bing Crosby release coming in November, also looking for some solid $$$$ (you know Bing and Christmas=$$) 3) Web site being updated, (new) will be seeing more emphasis on e-commerce side of things. 4) Rockepella group will have a new Folders Coffee (sorry about spelling) commercial with heavy rotation from Thanksgiving to Christmas. It is expected that 97% of the American population (per individual) will see/hear "Rockepella" at least 15 times. Apparently their record is bringing in some quality revenue for JBRD. _____________________________________________________________________ Rumor: 1) Always a possibility that JBRD will make an alliance (be bought out) by a large record company. The person I spoke with ESA (it's pronounced AYSA ... again sorry about the spelling) said that this has and will always be a possibility. Larger players have shown interest in JBRD (they like some of the product JBRD has) and at this point it is a wait and see situation. He DID point out that he knows of NOTHING immediate about any developments....so it could/it could not happen. (you know the usual,LOL!) 2) FACT/RUMOUR I was also told that the company has had some contact with some IR group re: promoting the company/stock etc. etc. (THIS IN MY OPINION WOULD BE SOME REAL WELCOMED NEWS.) ______________________________________________________________________ Other Stuff: The person I spoke to (ESA/AYSA) seemed very helpful, however they seemed more concerned/worked with the day to day goings on of the company vs. an IR person. I suggested they needed an IR group, (more of a professional look and feel) and he whole-heartedly agreed with me. I also explained the need for better discloser with regard to how the company was doing financially. ("get the word out to the investment community") He said that he would certainly speak to the CEO about that very suggestion. The person that I spoke to was ESA. (pronounced AYSA..again sorry about the spelling) His number: 203-761-9393 ex. 207 (P.S. very nice and enthusiastic about JBRD "the company" and "their product" ....good sign IMO) Anyway that's the status report.
