AMD had no comment, and motherboard makers could not be reached for comment. ...... -------------- This guy comes to a conclusion that AMD Athlon system supply is already dwindling at retailers based on one retailer's (COMPUSA) online info - which is a bad choice, because COMPUSA didn't even start carrying any IBM APTIVA Athlon systems. He didn't mention Intel even once in the article, as if Intel Motherboard supply will be somehow immune to the chipset, and other PC component shortage mentioned in the article. On top of that, he quotes an IBM spokesperson statement made two months ago to further justify his conclusion. Goutama
