NEW YORK, Oct 1, 1999 /PRNewswire via -- HotJobs.com, Ltd.
(Nasdaq: HOTJ), a leading Internet employment solutions company, was
named to the USA TODAY Internet 100 index in an update announced today
by the nation's top-selling newspaper. HotJobs.com is the first and
only Internet job board selected by the panel of USA TODAY editors and
reporters for this index.

The index, which is comprised of 50 e-Consumer companies and 50
e-Business companies, lists the top publicly-traded Internet stocks on
the basis of market capitalization and share price. e-Consumer

capitalization of at least $200 million and e-Business companies
(Internet companies that sell to other companies) must be worth $400
million or more. All stocks must have a share value of at least $12 and
be based in the United States. In addition, index companies must get at

$691,428,632 based on a September 30, 1999 closing price of $25.375 per
share with 27,248,419 common shares outstanding.
