I hope it's not another "dot com". ----------------------------------------------------------- Cambridge waives right to earn 49% interest in Discover Canada Cambridge Ventures Ltd CBM Shares issued 11,265,810 1999-09-23 close $0.05 Friday Oct 1 1999 Mr. Robert McMorran reports Cambridge Ventures Ltd. and Realm Group Inc. have entered into an agreement whereby Cambridge has waived its right to earn a 49-per-cent interest in Discover Canada, an on-line Internet travel business, and has agreed to not pursue for 24 months a business plan that competes with Discover Canada in exchange for receiving certain consideration from Realm. The company feels that this action is in the best interests of its shareholders following the announcement by Realm on July 16, 1999, that its Discover Canada travel desk partnership with Whistler Destinations Inc., a division of Seven Seas Travel, an American Express travel representative, had been terminated. The company intends to pursue other business opportunities and is reviewing a number of proposals.
