I see this is good and much expected news. There was no way dba was going to be able to fund large scale growth without additional financing. If this was not happening I'd be worried. Its only unfortunate that the price is not higher but that's the market. The only question I have is can you remember when the warrants are expiring and at what price? It would have been nice to be able to fund cash needs through already issued instruments.

Mr. John Henderson reports
dba Telecom Corporation is arranging financing of a maximum of $3.5-million through a non-brokered private placement. The private placement is being issued at a price of 18 cents per share and is subject to a minimum subscription of $2.5-million on or before Nov. 1, 1999. Shares purchased under the private placement will be subject to a four-month hold from the date of closing. The transaction is subject to the approval of the Vancouver Stock Exchange.
John R. Henderson, president and chief executive officer of dba Telecom, said that: "We have recently noted an increased level of interest in our SmarTalk range of products and orders have been received from a number of new and existing customers around the world. These funds will enable us to further expand our sales and marketing efforts to meet the increased demands. As well, the funds will be used to accelerate the research and development of various enhancements to our range of products."
