Market Gems / Savvy Trader... Is still a site very much worthwhile for any trader. MarketGems would have easily aligned with Savvy but we had a 'master plan'for weeks that seemed bold even for this industry. When we approached Savvy, the other idea was only in diaper stage and our need was great for help and provide our Market Gems picks with the the 'background' that could take care of the large potential we offer. We had no intention of incorporating any entity into Market Gems but only as a 'collaboration' effort.
One person can't handle it, nor can 4 handle what was to be the Market Gems master plan - a one stop shop for everything including education, books, chart explanation in real time and after market in full video, manuals, technical support not to mention a staff of more than a score of traders manning the computer workstations, or a multiple of chat rooms and instant execution with level II. I thought we could, but I found myself needing more than 1 chatroom and more than a staff of 3 or 4 more like staff of 10 or 20.. or at least to 'draw' from a staff that size.
I am a perfectionist by nature and Savvy was my second choice, out of the hundreds of 'stock selection sites available' and viable choice. But we just needed to draw from a larger staff including programmers, marketing team, proprietary software and a terrific fast execution brokerage that has no equal (of course that is optional for your choice although this brokerage is privy to our 'picks' etc.)
This would free me to be able to give my best in the watch list, Newsletter and even intraday updates on SI (with someone to actually fill in when I'm unavailable).
When it is known who has been chosen (or rather who has given us the honor of chosing us) everything will be clearer. The 'Market Gems' Part of the chat room will definitely undercut any chatroom in the business not only in price (no ridiculous pricing scheme, or hundreds of traders talking at once) but in quality, awards by prestigious financial magazines, manpower, reputation in the industry, and prestige. You won't only be hand held only, but you will see the rationale behind almost every buy signal.
Long John has done excellent work for Market Gems earnings plays will be part of the new format and will still be tracking, analyzing and 'involved' in every facet of our earnings plays.
We still 'love' our regulars and those of you that can follow all the plays in SI by all means can continue and have the chat room as an 'icon' on your screen to be utilized as needed. Or you can remain as you are now. Our thread on SI will still be number 1 because of the work and nurturing and we won't neglect one project for the other.
We have grandfathered over 900 of your in April and will be grandfathering all subscribers* (quarterly subscribers in the new phase with a choice of taking the additional chat room, monthly subscriber will still enjoy part but not the full old rate).
Because of the controversy surrounding daytrading we are considering ourselves swing traders, first and foremost and 'position traders' second. We don't promise you hundreds of thousands of dollars of profit but we do promise the most upscale stock selection/ education/execution system system available anywhere on the planet.
IPO plays will be thoroughly researched and played, but not on the day of their debut.
In conclusion in an industry proliferated by shoddy and unscrupulous traders, we still think Savvy trader is a class act and very worthy of our support and recommendations. |
