philipah: I wish I could have bought some at 72 and change. Believe me anything that Barrons writes about any company is usually negative. They haven't had a good idea in decades. If they convince anyone to sell then take the opportunity to pick up the shares as Barron's doesn't know a chip from a chippy. The article will no doubt be filled with the same stuff that has already been bandied about on this board for the past week. They will cite the various negative occurrences of the past week and the Athlon from AMD (vaporwafer in terms of profitability and supply -yield) and hyperbolate to a doomsday scenario for INTC. They will be about as right as Niles is on Dell. If they have an effect on folks that don't know the business and the price drops to where it is tonight buy all you can. JFD
