No worry. The US knows how to play its cards. Right now, it is eyeing the region below the soft underbelly of China, called Kashmir. And the fact that the region has turned into a nuclear flashpoint, gives the US all the more justification to intervene, and get a toehold and then a foothold, and finally a stranglehold. What is interesting to see is how the role of the US will be perceived within India, both by the extreme right as well as by the eternally-troubled north-eastern states that have been trying to secede for over 50 years now.
