Is the Lake the same area of The Mountain? Pelican?
Pelican Lake:
Failed Oil Field Model( See BMD AGM Slide Show with model and temperature variant at deepth as temps increase in 10 degree increments on the scale at the Carlin Trend Yankee Gold Mine as per that URL I placed here back around 12 July 1999< date my C Drive File was created so look at BM Thread>) On NBL Lands, has a JV with BMD already at the BM Block of Claims due West of Fort McMurray in ALTA mid way to all borders. Pelican Lake is at the SOUTH end east side of the URL below on my map near that BM Block of NBL JVed claims.
( This was said to be a Diamond Prospect but with Devonian Limestone all over, and Larry Kryska finding Titanium Metals up north, who knows ) RE:

Canadian Natural Resources has closed the previously announced acquisition of crude oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas production under a sale agreement with BP Amoco. Under this agreement Canadian Natural Resources Limited acquired approximately 42,000 barrels per day of oil and liquids production and 18 million cubic feet per day of natural gas production for a purchase price, prior to closing adjustments, of $1.060-billion. The acquired assets are adjacent to CNRL's existing operations in the Bonnyville and Pelican Lake areas of Alberta.
