Steve, do you follow SCS Solars? David Wong a top Canadian analyst rates this a one of the top three internet plays in Canada.
SCS Solars is a company that distributes air consolidators information over the internet in real time. Travel agents that use the system save time and money! The Solarnet database can be accessed through any major CRS system in the world. Revenues from each contract add up fast as they're between $5,000 and $30,000 US a month. Most of there contracts are 5 year deals.
SCS has a new product Solarnet Mail, this product allows travel agents to send and receive emails directly from there CRS terminal. This will also save time and money as travel agents won't have to send costly faxes or make long distance phone calls for conformations. This product retails for $99.95 a year and the market is over 400,000 travel agents.
SCS has entered into a deal with Bid.Com, the deal gives SCS the right to use Bid.Com's auction technology. With in a month they'll be opening the first on-line Consolidated air auction. This gives travel agents and the general public access to last minute flights at blow out prices.
SCS has well over 2.5 million in the bank and current revenues of about $120,000 a month. There system is cheap to operate so margins increase with each new contract.
Last but not least SCS just signed a huge deal with Hitchhiker Software of Germany last night, the news is on there site and will be released on newswires Monday morning. This deal will most likely generate a lot of contracts for SCS as they sign up a lot of Hitchhikers clients.
