To anybody that can fill in info that I am missing:

1. I can't seem to find if the year-ago quarter was taxed or tax-free. Does anybody know? It would make a big difference on comparing earnings apples to apples.

2. I was disappointed at the lower revenues even though I understand management's comments about year-ago quarter being extraordinary, and I understand that increasing earning on lower revenues indicates that the company may be operating more efficiently. HOWEVER, many investors and analysts look at growth in revenue as well as (or in place of) growth in earnings just because earnings can be affected by things like deciding when to take a write-off, or when to ship and book sales.

3. I am long this stock and have an oversized position in it. I remain positive about the future but am wondering about some of this quarters numbers.

Anybody care to help me understand what is going on?
