Another boring AMD analogy (Lorne: please skip this one):--

Last July AMD was trading at intraday lows of 9 1/4 before
it closed at 10 1/4.

All because the Street thought Intel would kill off AMD for good.

Earnings were out today: the Street said minus 3 cents but
they came in at plus 9 cents, 12 cents above the Street.

AMD closed at 43 and is trading over 45 in after-hours
and new targets are over 100 for 1998.

OKAY, so AMD is hardware and Novell is software; however,
Novell is and always has been a far better company than
AMD so maybe, just maybe, patient NOVL investors will
be rewarded.

AMD suffered the slings and arrows of the Intel FUDDERS
just like NOVL is, well, you know, and the Intel FUDDERS
are now on the AMD thread saying they actually covered
their bets and really bought AMD after all.

Betcha some MSFT folks will come on this thread someday
and say, well, hey, I covered my...
