Carolyn, Thank you for the reminder to do a breast self-exam on the 2nd of the month, and for the links too. More information on breast cancer (and many other conditions) @ mediconsult.com Recently, my beeper was clipped to the side of the waistband of some high-riding slacks i was wearing that day. While driving the car, couldn't help but notice "something feels funny" when i turned the wheel & not talking about the car! Checked it, breathed a sigh of relief to find the beeper there assuming it caused the "feels funny" irritating sensation of pressure...but thought it best to do the self-exam anyway when i got home again. And then again today on the 2nd of the month. So far, so good. This is my scheduled routine for awhile now, Established, Thanks to Blue. Should a problem ever develop, the self-exam could catch it much earlier than the once-a-year physical might or the mammogram HMO's say a healthy woman only needs every few years til she's older. A few months earlier could mean all the difference to one's lifelong health. Thanks again for posting us this reminder. 909s, Joanie |
