Ready-ID.com Revenue Model

Immucor's e-Commerce initiative musings......

I suspect that Immucor may charge a fee per antibody id request in addition to
an annual charge. Perhaps some other fee structure will be implimented to
introduce Ready-ID.com. How does 'FREE' for the first 90, 180 or 360 days if you
buy an ABS instrument or pre-determined level of reagents sound?

My Scenario

1) There are a million tests per month performed with Immucor's reagents, etc.

2) My GUESS is that 5% of all results may require some sort of verification.
Remember, utilizing Ready-ID.com eliminates the need to have a specialist on
call at the lab.

3) Potential market is 50,000 antibody id requests via Ready-ID.com per month.
Remember, I don't know for sure!

4) Off the cuff fee of $20 to $25 per submission. Could be low!

5) So, 50,000 * $22.50 (Average) = $1,125,000 per month

6) Assume salaries and expenses to run the program are $150,000. That would
be $1,125,000 - $150,000 = $975,000 net revenues per month.

7) The program for antibody id, not including training and other internet lab
reference services could generate $11,700,000 per year.

8) Based on 8,000,000 shares outstanding it appears that just this one service
could generate nearly a $1.00 per share in net earnings. Note - this assumes
that each client of Immucor utilizes the service, which is doubtful.

WOW is all I can say!

Best O'Luck,

Tom

P.S. Perhaps others have alternative revenue models that they wish to share.
IMHO - 'Regulatory' concern issues should be a non-event. We will soon know!
