Steve, I still don't understand this very well.

They have said that they will be producing 50% of production from Yamaha by yearend. Since they were at 20% at the end of Q2, it looks as if they are moving about 5% per month to Yamaha.

Just as a guess, they won't be able to have zero production from Milpitas until the other fabs are fully qualified, or until Yamaha does it all, which looks to be at least the middle of the year. I would certainly not want to give up potential production from Milpitas until I was sure all three outside fabs were up and producing product
for customers.

Therefore, if someone buys the fab it seems logical that they will make a deal with Xicor for both employees and (declining) production for perhaps 6 months, or more. If no one buys the fab Xicor will have to keep employees and production itself for the same period.

If the outlook is as I have stated, does this affect your read on the fab issue, and the outlook for the stock?
