jmac, I'm going to take your four posts and mux them into one reply. Just like Rambus!

RE: <Has anyone actually seen a Samsung press release. All I have seen is an article quoting a Samsung executive but as we have seen in the past, these electronic tabloids quote folks all of the time and do it inaccuratley. I point out to the IBM quote several weeks ago which IBM said was false.>

I wonder if there is any significance to the fact that the crane lifting the R onto dram on the billboard on Samsung's website: usa.samsungsemi.com has been replaced by a picture of a 256MBit Sdram and jsut below that there is an ad for a 32M DDR SGRAM. ANd in the rotating Samsung News just to the left there is no mention of Rdram. Of course maybe the crane is just down for maintainence.

RE: <These tabloids make up stuff all of the time. So do folks on SI. It's just a fact of life. I, for one, feel much better reading company releases than electronic tabloids quoting company officials.>

Of course, company releases always provide the exact truth and give you all the information that you need. Yep, no doubt about it.

RE: <As an effective investor you'd be better off payng attention to what company officials say than what EE or folks of similar nature. I'll bet you rely on Barrons, too.>

But I always believe company officals. Unclewest taught me to.

RE: <Not to sound to bullish on RMBS because I am not, but the delay in the 820 is now only 1 week also.>

Yes, this new delay is one week old. And counting!
