Looking at Fridays USA today. Bus Section is loaded with Internet articles. The Business to Business commerce will be in the Trillions as compared to the Business to consumer
in the billions. Also, they told of how much venture capital is out there to help small companies grow. Wonder why FNTN could not get such help. Or why Siemens could not fund them with exchange of stock. There are so many opportunites out there. Perhaps FNTN just never had at the begining, and concept that would fly. Too bad with all they have behind them, that they have to struggle on a shoestring, while other small startups are getting much finding. Again the question. The articles also go on to say that the "cream" of the ideas have been taken, and now it will take much technology, etc, to develop the second tier internets. Perhaps FNTN is in this category with the video technology, etc. It would again, be sad, with all they had/have at their finger tips, that they could not get off the ground. There are many ways now for start ups to get finanaical help. If MS kept this all too close to the vest, to keep control, hope it didn't blow it. We do know they took too damn long to get things going. With their "financial" expertise, why couldn't they have gotten more backing, instead of printing stock sheets like there was no tomorrow.
