Robert, What you and Irv did was very commendable and well meaning! While I think everyone affected will in general agree with the points you have made, I can honestly tell you based on considerable experience with private placements and many forms of partnerships that it is not prudent to advise investors against retaining qualified and trustworthy legal counsel to explore various options. After all, Mr. Michaels has retained counsel, why shouldn't investors? This is a song I personally have heard over and over again from officers and directors who have failed to deliver for whatever reasons and my only wish after the fact was that I had retained legal counsel before it was too late. While it is true lawyers stand to gain, it is also apparent that with partnerships of this size and duration some investors already have or will successfully receive their money back because they took a proactive stand on the matter.
