They have. Check out Pricewatch-it-drop (TM You). Athlon prices have fallen a LOT. But that is because 700MHz is about to hit the shelves (as you have said). I wonder if Intel will match the Athlon prices as they have with the PIII in the past two months, including a time when there was practically no supply of Atlons. Maybe Intel will wait until Cuontimemine comes out to lower prices because it will cost them less to make and won't effect them as much.
