Hi jmac,

<<<As for Samsung, I don't know what they are doing. >>>

To my way of thinking, it is a smart business move. Apparently
enough rdram has been produced to cover through the end of the year. It has been said that Dell will take 2/3 of the production. Mean-time there is a shortage of sdram. I would imagine Samsung's orders have increased since the earthquake in Taiwan. So it makes perfect sense to temporarily halt production of rdram until Intel solves the chipset problem. At that time...Dell will go into mass production, Samsung will resume production of rdram.
All my opinion of course.

P.S. I have seen mass production at Dell. It is a thing of beauty.
