And you'd be very wise to do so, Bill. I'm afraid that I read something into Merlin's posts that wasn't there, and even misstated his position to Apollo while debating gmst's simian status. That will teach me to quote from living authors! I'd hate to think what Geoffrey Moore would have to say about the license we may have inadvertently taken with his gaming theory <g>.

But now that I made the painful decision to diversify and been rewarded for my misinformed move, courtesy of Lady Luck, I think I'll hang in and root like hell for GI and TV Guide to fold. The interview with Henry Yuen that NY Stew posted yesterday is too encouraging to ignore, though I usually scoff at stock stories and story stocks.

Speaking of Geoffrey Moore, if he is lurking this thread, I'd like to thank him on behalf of my family and friends for his wonderful works. His GG may be theory, but the set of concepts and metrics he provided have magically transformed me from an under-performer to an over-achiever. Heartfelt thanks, Geoff.
