If I don't have RediPlus or other faster execution systems and I really want to buy INTC as quickly as possible at this hypothetical juncture, assuming the market is fast, I would use ARCA for 4600 shares with limit of 80 while simultaneously take out the 400 shares at 1/16 at REDI thru SNET preference.

Since REDI was the only (hypothetical) quote listed at 80 1/16, another way to accomplish this same goal using ARCA would be to place a single 5000 buy ARCA order at a price of 80 1/16. This would do exactly what you are looking for, while generating only one ticket and being faster than having to type in two orders.
