Hi Lin,.. Re:.The rules could be useless if you write the no-memory stocks like CPQ Lin, I don't know what "no-memory stocks" are. Do you mean those without solid fundamentals? Maybe we only sell puts on stocks like IBM, DELL, CSCO and others that have little chance of losing 20% of their value in the short term? Also, I would think Jan would be a good month because Dell reports in Feb. Wouldn't you look for some pre-earnings run up to strip the remaining premium out of the put options? Cheers, Lee
