I can remember the day in April when Netbank topped out around 240 going up something like 60 points in a day and my thinking this is crazy. My feeling then was that the net was not a good vehicle for banks because if you wanted cash you would have to pay a ATM fee for an out of town bank. And then I discovered NTBK interest rate advantage on a MM acct, 5.2% vs 1+ from my local bank, so I ain't so sure. Also free internet bill paying vs. $5.95/mo. from my local bank.

Also you can get cash from the grocery store using a NTBK debit card. And some ATM's are free to NTBK cards. And God knows what "smart" cards in the future can do. But the service is spotty.

So I ain't so sure.
