It would have been nice if you'd have provided the reason that you're saying I'm wrong so I don't have to guess at it. I hope you're not making me spend my Sunday morning on this based on the fact that more than 1GB can be supported when denser Rdrams are available. Obviously that is true and I was careful to say "128MBit chips are the largest that are remotely economical to produce today due to Rdram die penalty" to make it clear that I was discussing the current situation and not setting any fundamental future limit.

But if you've got something else in mind here is my reasoning:
1. 840 has two Rdram channels
2. Each channel has a hard limit of 32 Rdrams
3. Only 128MBit Rdrams are available

So 2*32*128MBit/8=1GByte. Please point out where I am wrong.
