brian, this is a good time to sell puts maybe? I already bot puts on select stocks where my asset allocations are skewed.

For certain stocks where i feel very bullish i bot puts (e.g. csco)
For stocks like dell i have covered calls. I uncovered all my aol covered calls at 80 somthings.

I was debating to uncover dell at this point. I wonder if dell will go beoyond 50 this time or remain in a trading range.
I made a comment to Frank last year/ or erly this year that dell would remain in a trading range till erning catches up to high PE (80) at the time. Now dell looks attractive except there is no pricing power, dell has been able to cut costs in past and now even that is in question. Addtionally, going forwrard mony has to be made in server business and this means pc has to share some of it's future growth w. servers. i.e. sunRays and other such devices.

btw : here is an intresting post which i have not had the time to read
i only scanned it.
