Gemini, if he is an intellectual, he's one from another planet. Actually, in some posts on another thread,where he and I began a really antagonistic barrage, I seemed to get the idea that he was from some "disadvantaged" group who,seemingly, has worked his way into some sort of success,(wealth to hear him talk about it)but has the inbred hate for anyone who he,in his biased judgement,thinks had it easier than he did.He doesn't seem to realize that the private enterprise system,as nurtured by the conservative viewpoint, is what gave him the opportunity to improve his lot in life. Not any sort of government, take a dollar and give back 30 cents, program that he seems to be so fond of. That is assuming that the government's wasted man power in federal agencies, allows even 30 cents to be returned to the people any more. Whatever he may have studied,it appears that he skipped out on economics.^ ^ ^TD |
