You're right. Posting on SI by itself is not enough. But how many times have you heard, say a post on Yahoo, repeated on CNBC. I believe it has happened at least a half dozen times. And the posts on electronic newsletters like EE & CNET are repeated more often. Frankly, I am not sure the SEC is interested in securities violations involving dissemination of false information.
