LCS GOLF & 24/7 MEDIA ADVERTISING AGREEMENT TO GENERATE $2.1 MILLION
NEW YORK, Sep 30, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- LCSG (OTC Bulletin Board: LCSG) has entered into an agreement with 24/7 Media, Inc. (http://www.247media.com) to represent its newsletter to major advertisers. 24/7 Media offers innovative advertising solutions on name-brand properties in high-demand content channels, delivering great reach against target markets both in the U.S. and internationally.
24/7 Media will provide advertisers to 4 newsletters under LCS Golf management, these newsletters include Golf & Travel online, David Leadbetter newsletter, The GolfUniverse.com newsletter, Sports & Leisure online. The newsletters will reach over 1 million subscribers weekly. The advertising revenues generated from reaching this affluent target market will exceed $2.1 million in revenues with $1.1 million EBITA. The agreement between the two companies is based upon a revenues share split. To add, 24/7 Media has also agreed to distribute the newsletters, thereby reducing the overhead, leaving LCS Golf with higher profit margins.
The agreement gives LCS Golf access to some of the leading advertisers on the Internet without having to create its own sales staff, thereby allowing the company to concentrate on its core strengths -- e-marketing, electronic publishing, database management, list services, targeted Opt in e-mail campaigns.
The importance of this agreement demonstrates how LCS Golf's senior management is implementing a strategic plan to grow the company significantly. 24/7 Media offers LCSG a strong revenue flow that can reach a 15-20% growth rate on a year-to-year basis that can potentially increase as LCS Golf's database grows.
