Harold, you may have a bad key board - one possibility as they sometimes quit functioning for certain keys - you might try a borrowed key board and if so and still under warranty you can get it replaced. I get frequent illegal operation error messages, even on my new computer and I don't have AOL. Most of my messages come when I am using Telescan. I doesn't sound like an AOL problem, but perhaps you need the number of your computer manufacturer. Bruce
