Dr. Z - Thanks for your response. Regarding your remark "We are focusing on the wireless wide area networking market (WAN) and hope to be a dominant player there", I hope it is not the intention to rename the company to Wi-WAN <ggg>. Your statement "If the unlicensed spectrum becomes saturated, manufacturers will entice the consumers to replace their old products with newer faster ones. However, as the manufacturers target homes with products, the market gained a new dimension that makes saturation a distant future subject" is somewhat confusing to me, perhaps because I do not understand RF communication properly. Do you mean that technological innovation will turn a saturated spectrum into an unsaturated one? Are you thinking in terms of say, compression, or some other means, that lightens the load on the spectrum...or do you mean that simple speed increases will decrease the time traffic is "in the pipe", creating room for more traffic? This, I'm guessing, relates to a possible future +/-100 Mbps WOFDM standard. Still learning, Dr., and I apologize for being slow to understand your comments. Best wishes, JK |
