Greetings Gregor, and all who love the Lord Jesus Christ. I can appreciate where Rhonda is with her marriage..................I have been patiently waiting for 17 years to be reconciled with my wife. I forsook my wife and children for another woman who was tragically killed the same year. I was an alcoholic, womanizer and you name it, I have tried it.......but it pleased Almighty God to reveal His Son in me 3 1/2 years later. I was immediately compelled by God to return to my wife and ask her to forgive me which I did and I told her my desire was to be reconciled to her and by the Grace of God I would be the husband I was meant to be. God has been very faithfull to me and shown me clearly the permancy of marriage is until death, divorce is not of God and remarriage is totally out of the will of God. I see my wife 3-4 times a week and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt we will be back together as one in reality in the near future. All praise and honour is to Almighty God who saved me and opened my blind eyes to see the truth in His Word. I must say that at first when God compelled me to ask for forgiveness and reconciliation from my wife I was reluctant as I had my own agenda which was to find a " Christian " girl and start over again. It is so tragic to see the false teachings that many churches are adopting in order to please people saying that divorce and remarriage is acceptable. This violates the Holy Word of God.....................I speak from experience. Thank the Lord I never went down that pathway. I pray that the Lord of Glory will grant Rhonda the ability to not only see His will on marriage but grace to carry it through to fruition when her husband comes to Christ.
