All the News That's Fit to Print?

Referring to "Company's Value Goes From $17 Million to $550 Million in 9 Months by Floyd Norris, The New York Times, October 1, 1999" As the stock price climbed, Scandinavia ballyhooed contracts that call for it to buy computers from Sun Microsystems and software from Oracle..

This following is taken from the Press release

biz.yahoo.com

WOBURN, MA - Wed, September 29 1999 -- Mirror Image Internet, Inc., a subsidiary of the Scandinavia Company (AMEX: SCF), today announced that it has deployed Sun (NASDAQ: SUNW) Enterprise 6500 Servers on its content delivery network nodes in Frankfurt and London. The Sun servers utilized in the Mirror Image architecture are powerful enough to handle the traffic of the entire UK and German markets and are capable of scaling for future Internet traffic growth.

The gentleman from the Times should understand that a system deployment occurs after the contract for hardware is sign and sealed. I think that the Times should changed the article to read "As the stock price climbed, Scandinavia ballyhooed deployments of its service in Europe"!!!!
