Let me start by thanking you for your immense contribution to this great thread with your Index. Having just returned to WINd's World after a long travel schedule, your Index sure made it easy for me to catch up quickly with the exciting new developments at our beloved WINd River Systems.
I had basically mothballed my WINd holdings for the past few months and was not following the news emanating out of either WINd or this thread. On my return, you can imagine my surprise, to find out about all the exciting new developments at WRS.
Back in June I had posted on this thread about my trip to WINd's new headquarters in Alameda:

And in that post I had recounted that the engineer who had given me a grand tour of the new building(s) had mentioned that WINd's OS was to run a new family of microprocessors from Intel. Though a few on this thread had speculated on the various possibilities, little did we know at the time about the enormity of this revelation. We know now!
It is amazing that everything that this Gentleman at WINd had told me, has slowly, but surely come to pass.
I want to thank him (I know he reads this thread) for his valuable insights.
It is refreshing to sense the enthusiasm that has once again started to permeate from this thread the likes of which I have not seen since the days of the Pathfinder mission. I cannot help but feel convinced that for us long believers, and may I add the word "sufferers," in WINd, heady times are just about here! Even though we may have not attained nirvana, yet, I can at least raise my head a wee bit and say to all the doubter's in a voice slightly higher than a whisper: I told you so!
I cannot wait for the day when I can utter those words at the top of my lungs...
Of course, it is nice to see that at least one of those doubters, and a very vocal one for that matter, has actually jumped ship and is now riding the WINd Train!
The only thing that I would like to see though is the return of the Great WINd Messiah, Mr. Allen Benn back to this thread...
