I believe you meant 1997 here.


2. When ASND ran from 22 on up to 80ish in 1998, it was driven by fundamentals: ATM was hot (and still is) and
the market appreciated ASND's (Cascade's) ATM product.


Not entirely. A lot of the run-up was due to takeover speculation. Fundamentals are not a factor in the current market in my opinion.
