Re: Signals

The 9/27 PLMD call died Tuesday morning when the volume started out so weak (I had stated that the volume had to hold up). The NOVL call got hit by Stone taking the CEO job with a start up but will be OK because of an announcement coming Tuesday about digitalme rollout. GBLX and IATV calls are based on strong accumulation underway.

Thanks for response. So do your signals emanate primarily from money flow or OBV-type indicators? Then falling volume is particularly important to an existing signal.

This is interesting to me because I don't follow these indicators closely. I lean towards traditional support/resistance, MACD, and DMI/ADX.

By the way, QQQ and DIA are beginning to turn up.

That would agur well for the PLMDs out there. I think institutional dumping explains why some stocks are getting whacked beyond news factors (witness NOVL). At least one analyst has pinned this on managers trying to preserve YTD performance.
