Frank,
How do you know what size of pie they are starting to eat into exactly?
Like I said ol dumb of ass, you've been posting all your meaningless drivvle about how mega huge Asia is going to be someday. That's not disputed.

You say that anyone worth a crap will sell it themself on the web.

DAMN RIGHT!!!!

I have a close friend who is a major manufacturer of clothing a sports products for major USA and European based brands. He has factories in Southern China. His company turnover is in tens of millions arena. He is loaded Dollar-wise and is the CEO of his group of companies. Guess what? His company doesn't even have a home page.

Then your friend joins you in being a dumbass. Then again if he has his sweatshops going full bore, maybe he doesn't need to advertise. He can't sell anything on the net since as is typical of cheap labor Asia, he manufactures what someone else invented or designed, he makes no product of his own his only sellable commodity is cheap labor.
Now if you're friend wants to get on the net, he's going to get his own webpage, which can be done for absolutely nothing, free web space is everywhere but it doesn't look profesional, or he can pay probably less than $50 a month for some web space hosting, and a couple of email adresses, get a domain from NSOL, and pow he's on the web. He then pays to enter his name in any of the numerous databases of Asian manufacturers and maybe he gets some inquiries. If he goes to Asia4sale, who the hell is going to ever see what he has? Right now the search doesn't work, and if it did, you'd have to look for whatever he makes specifically, or luck into browsing across it. If it's something no one knows about then they won't know to search for it, so no exposure on Asia4sale. Even if they do find it, that doesn't tell them who makes it.(though I did see the supplier listed on one item, probably a sweetheart deal) They'd have to order one and hope the manufacturers name is on it and not ZSUN's, or contact ZSUN and ask for the suppliers name, which would be dumb of ZSUN since they'd be giving it to a possible competitor.

Now let's say your friend makes super duper widgets and sells them for $5 each in 1000 lot. They retail for $20. Does he go on Asia4sale with them at $10? No, because he competes with his distributors. The best that Asia4Sale will do is get a distributor or sub distributor to sell to them. You do realize that most products that are worth a crap are very controlled in who gets to sell them, where they are sold, and how much off retail they are allowed to be advertised at.

The only manufacture that might try Asia4sale is some Asian arts and crafts person that does something by hand, or in very limited quantity. Someone that would already have their own webpage and is looking for a way to possibly increase sales. That's more what I pictured all along. Anything made in quantity will be too price competive to afford a middleman like ZSUN. A small timer could go to Asia4Sale and sign on, why not, it's free for the suppler, have their product out there, maybe they get a sale maybe not. The problem is, it's buried with a bunch of garbage that will never ever under any circumstance move. ZSUN should have the stones to go through and police that crap, tell people, look we want your business, but don't take advantage of our free listing cost and run your garbage here. You either supply us with sellable merchandise or hit the bricks because your garbage is turning away the customers.
But they don't care, it's more important for them to be able to list a big number of items for sale, thus the different item number for each size and color combo on a shirt, and the endless technical books that are priced at above full retail.
