Can anyone comment on how long it takes to tow a rig from say Europe (n Sea) to the GOM? Would there be any other considerations beside the cost of towing,risk, and the time required to make the move. Seems like some folks might be having Drills in the wrong places, Like ESV in Venezuela and MRL has one in sharjah , While all/most their GOM rigs are working. I mean there might be considerations like corporate presence, market share etc. Also exactly how long does it take to drill a well (or say 10,000 ft.). Is the game over(for the driller) if you actually find oil or gas. Thanks. Ramesh
